Jam Tracks Hub - YouTube Helper for Windows

Why this helper is needed
YouTube often blocks cloud servers from downloading audio. The helper lets
Jam Tracks Hub analyze a YouTube link from your own computer instead.

First-time setup
1. Right-click the downloaded zip file and choose Extract All.
2. Open the extracted folder.
3. Double-click:

   1_INSTALL_HELPER_DEPENDENCIES.cmd

4. When it finishes, double-click:

   2_CONNECT_HELPER_TO_WEBSITE.cmd

5. Go back to the Key Finder page.
6. The page will try to start the helper automatically. Choose Open/Allow if
   the browser asks.

Daily use after setup
1. Open the Jam Tracks Hub Key Finder page.
2. The page will try to start the helper automatically.
3. If the browser asks whether to open the local YouTube Helper, choose Open/Allow.
4. Keep the black helper window open while analyzing YouTube links.

If Start Helper does not work
Double-click START_YOUTUBE_HELPER.cmd in this folder, then try the YouTube link
again on the website.

Requirements
- Windows computer.
- Python 3.10 or newer.
- No separate ffmpeg install is required; the helper installs its own bundled
  ffmpeg package.

If YouTube download fails with HTTP 403
Run 1_INSTALL_HELPER_DEPENDENCIES.cmd again. This updates yt-dlp inside the
helper's local .venv environment, which fixes many YouTube download changes.

Privacy
The helper runs on your own computer at http://127.0.0.1:8765. Temporary audio
files are deleted after analysis finishes.

Note
Uploaded audio analysis on the website does not need this helper. The helper is
only for YouTube link analysis.
